Blue and White Take Down Messiah in Extra Innings

Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team hosted non-conference opponent Messiah on Tuesday April 11th where the Lion's trailed 1-0 for most of the game before tying the game up in the ninth inning. Harrisburg walked off in the 10th inning to win 2-1 over the Falcons.

Game Highlights:

Messiah's only run came in the fifth inning as Mark Lauria and Ryan Adamus hit back-to-back-doubles before picking up an RBI. In the bottom of the ninth, Travis VanHouten advanced home as Chris Iocca reached first on an error by the Falcon's short stop. In extra innings, Travis VanHouten doubled as Bret Williams ran home to score and win the game for the Lion's.
