Penn State Harrisburg Falls on the Road to Lebanon Valley

Annville, Pa.- After Penn State Harrisburg jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the fifth, Lebanon Valley came back to score 11 runs to defeat the Lion's 11-7 on Sunday April 9th. Penn State Harrisburg dropped to 11-20 while the Dutchmen improved to 12-11.

Game Highlights:

Bret Williams got things started for the Lion's in the first with a home run. Williams recorded three RBI's as he sent Justin O'Dell and David Klein to home plate. In the third inning, Josh Brubaker reached first base on a throwing error by the Dutchmen before Williams advanced home. Zachary Koroneous hit a home run next at bat for Harrisburg before hitting a single to center field in the fifth inning to put Harrisburg on top 6-0. In the bottom of the fifth, the Dutchmen began their comeback with a double to cut their deficit at 7-3. Lebanon Valley added two more in the fifth thanks to a wild pitch and a double to trail Harrisburg 7-5. In the bottom of the seventh the home team took the lead with a two RBI-single to tie the game up. LVC gained their first lead of the day with a double down the line followed by and RBI-single to lead 10-7.
