Baseball Struggles Against Wesley

Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team struggled at home on Wednesday April 5th against the Wesley Wolverines. The visitors held Harrisburg scoreless for the seven innings before sealing their 11-6 victory over the Lion's.

Game Highlights:

Both teams were held to zero's in the first two innings before Wesley got things started in the top of the third with a homerun, recording three RBI's.  In the top of the fourth,  the Wolverines put two more runs on the board with a single and an unearned run off an error by the Lion's short stop. At the top of the fifth, the visitors added three more runs off a single a a double to lead Harrisburg 8-0. Wesley finished up their scoring for the afternoon in the eighth inning thanks to two errors by Harrisburg and a double.

Zachary Koroneous doubled in the bottom of the eighth, sending Bret Williams and David Klein to home plate for the Lion's first runs of the afternoon. In the ninth, David Klein singled, advancing Jackson Struve to home plate. Josh Brubaker finished the game on a high note with a home run and three RBI's.
