#6 Penn State Harrisburg Falls to #4 Wesley

Frostburg, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg baseball team faced Wesley this afternoon for their second game of the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament. The Wolverines jumped out to an early lead in the first two innings and held on for a 10-6 win over Harrisburg.

Wesley recorded five runs in the first two frames before slowing down for the third and fourth inning. Penn State Harrisburg got on the board in the top of the fifth scoring two singles from Will Quiles and Ethan Kell. Welsey responded with a sacrifice fly and a single to left field to extend their lead to 7-2. Tom Denniston singled through the left side, advancing Blake Reiff to home in the seventh. The Lion's brought home three RBI's in the eighth off of a double to center field by Josh Brubaker and a single from Reiff. The Wolverines added three more runs in the eighth to seal the win.
 

Penn State Harrisburg will face Marymount tomorrow at 9 am to continue their Championship Weekend run.
