Middletown, Pa. -  Penn State Harrisburg's men's baseball team did well to fight back in a game that had gone terribly in the wrong direction, but despite the valiant effort still came up short when they fell to York College (Pa.) 17-12 Tuesday April 7^th.

The Lions came in to the game looking to repeat their success from the first time these two teams faced each other less than a week ago and the Lions won 12-7.   York had other plans, jumping out in the first two innings, scoring a run in each to go up 2-0.

Penn State Harrisburg pushed back scoring two runs thanks to a two run bomb from Kevin Kremer (Hershey, Pa. / Hershey) to tie the game 2-2 in the bottom of the 3^rd.  From there the game opened up as the Spartans outscored Harrisburg 8-2 over the 4^th and 5^th innings and after scoring 4 more in the top of the 6^th inning York thought the game was over up 14-4.

Then the Lions made their comeback by scoring six runs, capped off by a Bryan Balshy (Palmyra, Pa. / Palmyra) three run homer to bring the game within four.  Unfortunately, after two scoreless innings York took any hope the Blue and White had built up by scoring three more runs to push their lead back to seven.  With a push in the bottom of the 9^th, the Lions loaded the bases but were only able to score two more runs, falling in the end to the Spartans 17-12.  Kramer led the Lions at the plate going 3-5 with four RBIs and a homerun.  

The Lions will look to get back in the win column Wednesday April 8^th when Wesley makes the drive to take on the Lions starting at 3:30 p.m.
