June 25, 2016 2015-2016 Top Ten Moments: #8 Loch and Carter Earn Second Team Nominations Senior catcher Rieley Loch represented the Lion’s as a second-team selection, the first all-conference honor of her career. Penn State Harrisburg Senior center Kiara Carter was honored as a second –team all-conference pick for her hard work and play throughout the 2015-2016 women's basketball season
June 14, 2016 Men's Soccer Summer ID Clinic June 27th The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team is hosting a summer ID clinic on Monday June 27th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. The ID clinics will provide high school student-athletes with the opportunity to receive coaching from the our coaching staff as well as interaction with the current players. Players will see what a typical Penn State training session looks like and get a feel for the coaching style and the culture of our program. The clinic will also include a question and answer session at the end of the clinic.
June 14, 2016 Women's Volleyball Skills Clinic Saturday July 23rd Penn State Harrisburg's Volleyball program is hosting a special mini-camp event for grades 5 - 12 focused on improving skills necessary to play successful volleyball. Clinic is Saturday July 23rd from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
June 1, 2016 2015-2016 Top Ten Moments: #9 Men's and Women's Cross Country In the fall the Penn State Harrisburg men’s and women’s cross country teams hosted the first Annual Bud Smitley Invitational. The Lion’s hosted Lebanon Valley, Lancaster Bible, Penn Stata Monto-Alt, and McDaniel for the meet. Lebanon Valley finished first, followed by McDaniel, Lancaster Bible, and Penn State Harrisburg. The event unfortunately was cold, rainy, and very muddy but it was a very successful first home meet for the cross country teams.
May 26, 2016 Penn State Harrisburg’s Cameron Yon Wins Bronze Medal at NCAA Championships Waverly, Iowa - Penn State Harrisburg’s men’s track and field athlete Cameron Yon (Patuxent River, MD / Great Mills High School) has just established himself as an athlete that will be remembered through the test of time at Harrisburg. Not only did he qualify in the men's discus to participate in the NCAA Championships held in Waverly, Iowa at Wartburg College May 26th, he has now claimed the bronze medal with his longest toss of the day and his career at 53.19m.
May 23, 2016 Yon Headed to NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Middletown, Pa. - Cameron Yon has qualified in the men's discuss to participate in the NCAA Championships being held in Waverly, Iowa at Wartburg College May 26th - May 28th. Yon is the first Penn State Harrisburg Track and Field Athlete to make the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Athletes Of The Week

Cameron Yon - Men's Track and FieldYon took home his first individual CAC Outdoor Championship this past weekend as he won the men's discus throw. he threw a little over 163 feet (49.69 Meters) to take home first place as well as qualifying him for the ECAC Outdoor Championships held on May 18th and 19th. Yon will be in action again this week when he travels to compete in the Penn Relay's with teams from around the country.
Ashley Williams - Women's Track and FieldWilliams claimed her 2nd individual CAC title this past weekend as she won the 100 meter hurdles running the event in a time of 14.39 seconds. Williams will look towards the ECAC Outdoor Championships to lower her time to qualify for the NCAA Championships in late March.
