How it Happened

Penn State Harrisburg won its second match of their 2016 season, when Madison Hemler sent a pass up the middle of the field for Kristen Stark to run on to and finish to the lower left hand corner of the net. This was Stark's first goal of the season and Hemler's first assist of the year.

The Lion's came out strong in the first half, putting the Blue Jay's on their heels for the first 25 minutes of the game. Goal keeper Daniella Marroquin came up big for Harrisburg in the 28th minute of play as she stopped the Blue Jay's by getting her fingertips on the ball and forcing it out of bounds. Marroquin had a second big save in the second half as the home team tried to tie the game up with 40 minutes to go.
