Ten Penn State Harrisburg Student-Athletes Honored by the ITA

Ten Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for being named an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

The ITA Scholar-Athlete award is open to any player that meets the following criteria: be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, and has been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters.

Receiving the Honor for the Lions were Manley Wong, Austin Pokopec, Tyler Cook, Andrew Brady, and Rafael Fernandes on the men's side, as well as, Jessica Miller, MinHwa Lee, Kiara Carter, Skylar Buschnski, and Fay Ansary on the women's side.

Both teams will kick off their 2016-17 campaign when they travel to Albright College on Sept. 15th for a match set to start at 3:30 P.M.
