Penn State Harrisburg’s Men’s Student-Athlete of the Week is men’s track & field athlete Jalil Clayton. The sprinter/hurdler wasted no time in impressing to begin his senior campaign, posting a new program record thanks to a blistering time of 8.18 seconds in the 60m hurdles at Susquehanna's River Hawk Open on Friday, Nov. 30. His time bested his previous career mark of 8.27 and currently ranks him second in the nation in the event, just .01 seconds off the best effort of the year. He also helped lead the Blue & White's 4x400m relay team to victory over squads from Stevenson, Susquehanna and Scranton thanks to a strong opening leg. Clayton was named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for his efforts.
