Tailgating Policy

Penn State Harrisburg encourages alumni, family and fans to create a great game day atmosphere at home athletic contests. Penn State Harrisburg promotes tailgating/picnicking in a safe, responsible and respectful way. Please keep these guidelines in mind when planning tailgates.

Respectful Environment
We want everyone to have a great experience. We ask that fans be respectful of those surrounding them and remain mindful of their choice of language and activity. Individuals are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on Penn State Harrisburg. Persons acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises or be subject to citation. Students also may be charged with a violation of the student conduct code. Please keep all music and audio at a volume that is respectful of tailgating neighbors.

Tailgating Locations
Penn State Harrisburg encourages tailgate/picnicking activities in the designated tailgate areas next to the soccer field, between the baseball and old soccer fields and on the third-base side of the softball field. We ask that tailgate activities foster a safe, inclusive, family-friendly environment that encourages social interaction and enhances school spirit.

Clean Up
Please help keep the Penn State Harrisburg campus beautiful. All groups are responsible for making sure their area is clean prior to departing from the game.

Pet Policy
Penn State Harrisburg is concerned for the health, well‐being and comfort of all fans attending intercollegiate athletic events, as well as all student‐athletes, coaches and officials participating in intercollegiate athletic events. As a result, pets and other animals are strictly prohibited at all Penn State Harrisburg intercollegiate athletic events without being on a leash. Any person found with an animal or pet at a Penn State Harrisburg athletic event must pick up after them or they will be asked to leave the premises. This excludes service animals with proper documentation.
